Today´s Healthy Tip

Recent studies have found another reason to eat less red meat. It appears that the carnitine that is found naturally in red meat is metabolized n our intestines into compounds that may be toxic to our hearts and lead to heart disease. Carnitine powders that are used frequently by body builders may also have a similar effect, so be careful with those too. I will keep you posted as new information becomes available. In the meantime, eat more chicken and fish.
